Hotel Alinari - Florence

The staff's attentiveness enhanced our stay. Cristiano's warm welcome and the really good breakfast options made mornings good. The view from our room over the bell tower added a charming touch to our experience.

It's a a decent size hotel, rich breakfast. Helpful personnel is apart from one older staff member. Our venue is set in a very central location next to the main train station of Florence and all major attractions and Resturant. The restaurant attached makes healthy food.

Great location close to the train station. Had suite with balcony and a view of the Basilica of San Lorenzo plus a king size bed: )

What you should know

The breakfast selection was very nice. Everything was fresh and delicious! Fantastic location, just a short walk from main attractions and the train station.

Be aware of the thin walls! Noise from neighbors disrupted my sleep, and the room had minimal bathroom amenities.

There was attentive staff and the service was good. The breakfast served was varied and excellent with cheeses and a beautiful view and cappuccinos.

It felt very safe and homey, like being part of the family

Amazing location & friendly staff!

Stayed for a night with my family. The room was super clean, and we had a nice view! Just a short walk from the train station and easy to get to major sights. Loved the breakfast with plenty of options. Just wished the water pressure in the shower was better. Big plus was the cute staff.

There is better accomodation in Florence for the same price.

The hotel location was close to tourist attractions and restaurants. The hotel was close to Florence train station which meant that we could take our bags to the station and not worry about taxis. Continental breakfast was good and you could order a cappaccino or expresso. We loved the old fashioned lift as it reminded us of the old movies.

The welcome we recieved on the first day was not great but the following 2 days the staff were very friendly and helpful and we did enjoy our visit to Florence.

The staff was amazing, especially Cristiano, who organized a special cake for my husband's birthday breakfast. The breakfast was great, with an very nice spread of croissants, fresh fruit, and a perfect rooftop view, it reminded me of a culinary hug to start the day!

The room was quiet and beautifully designed! The rainfall shower was fabulous, and the views were a real treat. Plus, it was conveniently close to the train station, which saved us a lot of time!

Clean rooms, good breakfast and gentile staff.

Overall - pleasant and wonderful place with experienced staff apart from one older staff member. Particularly good and stunning location in the busy area, just off major attractions, both a railway station and the city centre and the San Lorenzo market. Plus, 5 minutes drive from a cubical shrine.

Very helpful staff. Printed off our online ticket purchases. Great location. Near the train station, but quiet. Good breakfast. Attractive breakfast room and covered balcony. Would stay again.

Showers, as typical of Italy perhaps, were cosy. Could be a challenge for a large person.
